I also took quizes to see what character I'm most like (FAITH)and who would be my "dream date" (SPIKE), but those results weren't very blog-friendly.

And yes, I know I am a geek because I read comic books.

And I don't care what you think.

New Orleans.
We had a great time.

Here are the pics.
We did Breakfast at Cafe du Monde.

Did lots of sightseeing.

Nate ate crawdads for the first time.

We also to the ferry across the Mississippi to Old Algiers. Went to Mardi Gras world to see where the floats are made.

(I want the giant yoda)

And this must be what happens to Disney props when they die.

Nate and I were quite impressed with the gas lamps used throughout the french quarter.

And lastly, the drinking shots. No, we are not drunks. But, we did take Grayline's "Southern Comfort" tour. It takes you to lots of historical bars. Educational boozing.

And this picture, well, needs no explanation if you know my hubby.

I'm going to New Orleans today.

And you're not.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

For your viewing pleasure here are CUTE PUPPY PICS!

THis is Nate's sister's new dog, QT Pi. He is a handful, but very adorable (now if we could just get him to stop going after my Nani)

The dogs all get along very well. Our two, Nate's moms two, and the new puppy. (This pic shows Caesar in his play pose, when his butt goes up in the air, he is ready to play)

After playtime, comes naptime.

Got to go catch my plane. Back in a few days.

Show me a man with a tattoo and I'll show you a man with an interesting past. Jack London - 1883

Beauty is skin deep. A tattoo goes all the way to the bone.
Vince Hemingson

Met with a tattoo artist recently. Will be starting my next tattoo within the next month (it's a big one, so it will take a while to finish). Haven't spent some time with my relatives lately, who don't really understand tattooing (I get a lot of comments like "You won't be able to get a job" and "you'll regret it when you're 40"), I thought I'd post some facts.

The National Geographic News stated in April 2000 that 15% of Americans were tattooed (or approximately 40 million people!)

Esquire Magazine estimated in March 2002 that 1 in 8 Americans was tattooed.

According to the American Society of Dermatological Surgery, they stated in 2005, that of all the people they treat with laser and light therapy, only only 6% are getting a tattoo removed.

Harris Poll, 2003, estimates that fully 36% of those aged 25-29 have one or more tattoos.

A 2006 a study done by the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology found that 24% of Americans between 18 and 50 are tattooed; that's almost one in four. And the survey showed that about 36% of Americans age 18 to 29 have at least one tattoo!

Democrats are more likely to have tattoos (18%) than Republicans (14%) and Independents (12%) while nearly equal percentages of males (16%) and females (15%) have tattoos.

A majority of Americans with tattoos (83%) do not regret getting them, while 17% do feel regret. The survey found that regret for getting a tattoo was highest among tattooed Republicans (24%) and among those living in the South (21%). And, the reason cited most often for feeling regret about getting tattoos was "because of the person's name in the tattoo" (16%).

I'm usually a nice person. Yes, I have a tattoo that says BITCH, but still, most people would say I am nice (I send thank you cards, I respect my elders, etc.)

But when I heard today that Jerry Fallwell had died, I couldn't help but grin.

Here are some of my favorite (most horrendous that he spews this garbage) Fallwell qoutes.

Here's some quotes :

In New Hampshire.

We ordered awesome grasscloth wallpaper today for the RV. We are remodeling it to be a tiki bar. New flooring, new walls, even removing the dinette to replace it with a bar.

Lots of hard work, but it will be awesome once its done.

Next week its off to New Orleans for a couple days to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Then in mid-June, its back to work (this time in Mexico).

Off to bed. We are taking the RV couch to be reulphostered tomorrow. :)

Good news. No, make that great news...hubby is coming home early! Woohoo!

Since hubby has been gone and I've just been hanging out with my family, I have been wasting lots of time online. Some things I have learned

1) I want to buy everything on www.thinkgeek.com especially the Motny Python Killer Rabbit slippers. They rock. (and yes mom, they also have Dr Who stuff like sonic screwdrivers and r/c daleks).

2) I've booked Nate & I a trip to New Orleans for our wedding anniversary. Good food, good music, now I just have to get a new camera (since US Air lost mine) before the trip.

3)I'm also in love with www.pugaday.com which posts a different pug picture everyday. I can't wait to take more pictures of Nani to send in. So cute!
(pug-a-day is created by the people behind roythepug.com, a great site full of video & pics of two adorable pugs, Roy & Gwen.)

4) I've been told that I spoil my dogs. Maybe I do. They are like my children. But there's spoiled and then there's SPOILED. This website is just too insane.

5) Pugs don't get all the attention. All-Mighty Clothing has great Boston Terrier designs on clothes, jewelry, even household stuff.

6) I downloaded the new Joss Stone album. I highly reccomend it. Between it and Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" I have been listening to some awesome music lately.

That's it for now. The plan is to see Spiderman 3 tomorrow at IMAX.

And don't forget, Sunday is the American Cancer Society's Dogwalk. So please, sponsor me and Caesar, it's for a good cause. Go to www.dogswalk.com for info.
