Went to the dog park today to meet the pug group. Caesar and Nani had a blast. Completely wore themselves out. Here are the pics.

Here is an update for the coming weekend:

Tomorrow Nate and I have to work. Saturday we are going to the FX Con (hopefully I will get Freddy Krueger's autograph and get George Romero to sign my 'Night of the Living Dead' DVD). If anyone reading this will be there, say hi.

After the FX con, Nate and I will be taking Nani and Caesar to the dog park. The pug play group will be meeting. So look foward to pics of at least 20 pugs!

Saturday night, if we are not too tired, we will be going to see Monster Trucks (Nate's idea, not mine.)

Sunday is back to work.

Tongiht I am missing the Rocket 88 show. Really wanted to go, but have to open at work in the morning, so I have to skip it.

That's about it. Time to eat dinner.
I was bored, so I updated stuff. Check out the new links.

Also, made a slideshow of my tattoos.

Hi,

President Bush admitted to personally authorizing thousands of allegedly illegal wiretaps, and he doesn't plan to stop. Circumventing the Constitution is serious business.

This is a big moment. People from across the political spectrum are standing together to protect the rule of law and the principles that are core to our identity as Americans.

Can you sign this petition to show Congress that Americans want a thorough investigation of the president's secret wiretapping program?

Thanks!

My two wonderful dogs, Caesar and Nani, are participating in Paws in the Park. Paws in the park is a fundraiser where dogs and their humans walk around Lake Eola to raise money for the Orlando Humane Society. The Orlando Humane Society is where nate and I adopted Caesar. Paws in the Park is more than just a walk, there will also be contests and games. But more important than all the fun, is helping homeless animals. So, if any of you folks would like to make a donation (every dollar counts) please contact me.

Off topic here, but I have had a couple people ask me about our wedding registry. We are registered at Pottery Barn and at Pier One. If you want to get us something original, feel free. We would always love more stuff for our tiki bar.

So, Nate's birthday (35 years! Wow, is he old or what?) is on Sunday. SO, Saturday night we are going to Old Town to see the old cars. Yes, I expect to be bored, but Nate's into all that car stuff.

That's about it. Lots coming up in the next few months. Mardi Gras is starting at work on Feb.11. FX con and Megacon are coming up.
And some great bands are coming in concert:

Rocket 88

The Horrorpops

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Dropkick Murpys

Oops, the dogs are bugging me to go out for a walk.
Bye everyone!

So, I already posted this out as a myspace bulletin. But I wanted to post it again since it is important.

"Orlando folks, please read this...
Body: I got this from my buddy Justin, but it is very important, so I thought I'd foward it to all of you. Please do what you can to help. And for those of you with pets, I hope to see you at Paws in the Park on February 11, benefiting the local Humane Society. For more info on Paws in the park, go to http://www.ohs-spca.org/.

From Justin:

I need your help, serious.
Well, not so much me as the four legged friends we all have.

It has come to my attention, that our shitty state of Florida, and yes it is a shitty state has rezoned property (probably those damned Republicans) that Pet Rescue by Judy has to close her no kill adoption kennels. these pets have nowhere to go.

I normally don't send these out as a lot of people turn a blind eye to them, but these animals have nowhere to go. So if youknow someone who is looking for a great pet, please check these websites

www.petrescuebyjudy.com or petfinder.org

Judy is a 501-C3 Non Profit Org and yes, you can donate funds. If you are leery of giving cash then help by adopting a pet. I, myself, have my eye on a gorgeous Australian Shepherd that may keep Hootie company.

Please help and whatever you do DO NOT GO TO BREEDERS or PET RETAILERS. Please adopt these guys. They need your help.

Thanks guys,
Justin

Stupid Tom Delay qoutes

1) "I AM the federal government." –Tom DeLay, to the owner of Ruth's Chris Steak House, after being told to put out his cigar because of federal government regulations banning smoking in the building, May 14, 2003

2) "So many minority youths had volunteered…that there was literally no room for patriotic folks like myself." --Tom DeLay, explaining at the 1988 GOP convention why he and vice presidential nominee Dan Quayle did not fight in the Vietnam War

3) "Now tell me the truth boys, is this kind of fun?" –Tom Delay, to three young hurricane evacuees from New Orleans at the Astrodome in Houston, Sept. 9, 2005

4) "We're no longer a superpower. We're a super-duper power." –Tom DeLay, explaining why America must topple Saddam Hussein in 2002 interview with Fox News

5) "Nothing is more important in the face of a war than cutting taxes." –Tom DeLay, March 12, 2003

6) "Guns have little or nothing to do with juvenile violence. The causes of youth violence are working parents who put their kids into daycare, the teaching of evolution in the schools, and working mothers who take birth control pills." –Tom DeLay, on causes of the Columbine High School massacre, 1999

7) "A woman can take care of the family. It takes a man to provide structure. To provide stability. Not that a woman can't provide stability, I'm not saying that... It does take a father, though." -Tom DeLay, in a radio interview, Feb. 10, 2004

8) "I don't believe there is a separation of church and state. I think the Constitution is very clear. The only separation is that there will not be a government church." –Tom DeLay

9) "Emotional appeals about working families trying to get by on $4.25 an hour [the minimum wage in 1996] are hard to resist. Fortunately, such families do not exist." –Tom DeLay, during a debate in Congress on increasing the minimum wage, April 23, 1996

10) "I am not a federal employee. I am a constitutional officer. My job is the Constitution of the United States, I am not a government employee. I am in the Constitution." –Tom DeLay, in a CNN interview, Dec. 19, 1995

Not much to say. Been busy working. I was only on the schedule for 16 hours this week, ended up working 40. ANyway, just got our tickets to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy in April, and in March we are going to go see Dropkick Murphy's with the Horrorpops. Wow, I don't even remember the last time I went to a concert where I had to get tickets ahead of time, we usually just go see local bands. Anyway, I am probably going to dye my hair soon. Black again (as per usual). But I am thinking of doing something different. Probably some chunks underneath. Can't decide between bubble gum pink or turqouise blue. I'm not really a pink sort of girl, but I think it would look good with black.

Oh, and I am thinking of telling nate I want a new tattoo for Valentine's Day.

Bye all. have to work at 8am tomorrow.

So, if anyone reading this forgot to get me a christmas present.
You should so buy me this shirt

or these shoes, they would look so good with my wedding dress.

alright, i don't really expect anyone to buy me anything. I just really love that shirt.

ooohhh, just thought of something. I'd love a new tattoo. I should find out if there is a way to get gift certificates for tattoos. That would be awesome.
Nate and I had all sorts of plans for tomorrow since we both had the day off (errands, movies, spoiling the dogs) but then I picked up a shift at work opening at 8am. SO, I am going to bed. First however, I am going to read my best friends blog. For those of you who haven't heard, my best freind Amy left for tour yesterday. She is working for the company I used to work for (Feld Entertainment) on the Disney Live! Winnie the Pooh show, currently in Mexico.
